About the Role
The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to the business, delivering HR guidance and support aligned with organizational goals. In this role, you will act as the primary HR contact for department leaders and senior leadership across assigned business units, providing direction on HR initiatives and regularly communicating updates to the broader HR leadership team.
You will collaborate across all levels of the organization, including leaders, employees, and HR colleagues, to ensure HR programs are delivered effectively and support key business objectives.
This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and project management capabilities. You’ll play an active role in driving initiatives, supporting organizational priorities, and contributing to overall business success. Leveraging your experience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, you will also support special projects and help design new programs as needed.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are critical. You must be comfortable navigating sensitive situations, facilitating difficult conversations, and balancing business needs with sound HR practices. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment is essential.
Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on HR-related topics, providing guidance that supports overall business performance
- Partner with leadership and HR centers of expertise to identify, develop, and deploy talent aligned with short- and long-term business needs
- Leverage data and insights to design and implement forward-thinking HR solutions
- Conduct organizational and talent assessments to support business strategy
- Drive initiatives that deliver measurable impact and long-term value
Coaching & Consulting
- Build strong relationships with leaders to influence decision-making and align HR priorities with business strategy
- Provide coaching to leaders, including identifying gaps and recommending solutions
- Maintain close connection with employees and managers to proactively address challenges related to engagement, performance, and productivity
- Support conflict resolution through coaching, counseling, and mediation as needed
- Stay informed on employment laws and ensure leaders are educated on policies and risk mitigation
Change Leadership
- Partner with leaders to support organizational change and transformation efforts
- Use data to anticipate shifts, monitor impact, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Identify risks to business goals and connect leaders with appropriate resources
- Manage communication plans and timelines for HR initiatives to ensure successful adoption
HR & Business Alignment
- Assess business needs and connect teams with the right HR resources and solutions
- Lead and contribute to initiatives with significant business impact, improving and evolving existing programs
- Ensure HR services are delivered effectively in terms of quality, cost, and timeliness
- Provide guidance on HR processes, policies, and best practices
- Utilize HR systems and data to generate insights on trends such as retention, performance, and engagement
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable laws and support regional business strategies
Artificial Intelligence & Technology
- Use AI-enabled tools to enhance recruiting, workforce planning, and overall employee experience
- Apply automation and generative AI tools to improve efficiency in sourcing, screening, and communication
- Interpret data-driven insights to inform HR strategy, workforce trends, and performance
Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
- Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Experience
- 8+ years of related experience
- Leadership or management experience
