The Mciver Clinic is seeking a Hospital Coordinator.
The hospital care coordinator position entails:
- Accepting new patient consults from Jacksonville area hospitals
- Handling high volume phone calls
- Coordinating care between providers and patients
- Summarizing pt chart histories, accurately relaying information.
- Creating new patient electronic charts
- Surgery scheduling
- Record keeping
- Creating and maintaining office scheduling templates
- Creating notes for billing of patient charges
- Dictating surgical notes
- other duties as assigned
Skills/Experience:
- EPIC, PowerChart, or Meditech experience preferred
- 1 year MA experience required; preferred experience in Urology
- Medical terminology - required
- Word, Excel

- Some college or postsecondary a plus
