Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Idaho Site Works is a growing comprehensive construction contractor based in Nampa specializing in earthwork, wet utility installation, and commercial and civil construction services. Our team supports projects throughout the state with modern equipment, skilled operators, and a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
We are seeking a team member with Class A CDL with experience in running heavy haul gravel trucks. The candidate should have experience with operating side dump, end dump, truck/pup or super dump.
Qualifications:
- Class A CDL (tanker endorsement encouraged)
- Caring personality - we are a team - We get it done together.
- Safe- OSHA 10 Required within 30 days of hiring. OSHA 30 Preferred.
- Accident Free Driving Record
- Familiar with loading and unloading soils and gravel on site and within dump locations
- Experience in running lowboy and flat bed trailers.
- Experience with navigating ports of entry
- Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT Regulations
- Experience in Operating all types of Construction Equipment/Machinery – Trucks, Skid Steers, Excavators, Dozers, Rollers – etc.
- Flawless CDL record
- Great written and verbal communication skills, in English
Responsibilities:
- Operate truck in a safe and efficient manner.
- Familiarity with local roadways and routes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Be familiar with and Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated locations.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding routes and schedules.
- observe and document truck issues, safety concerns, maintenance problems through designated reporting processes.
