Delaware State University is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual for the position of Head Women's Soccer Coach within our esteemed DI Athletics program. As the Head Women's Soccer Coach, you will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive and successful women's soccer team. This pivotal role involves not only coaching and mentoring student-athletes but also contributing to the overall athletic program's success through strategic planning and collaboration with departmental staff.Essential Functions The following are the functions essential to performing this job:
Develop and implement effective coaching strategies, training progams, and game plans for the women's soccer team.
Recruit, select, and mentor student-athletes to achieve their full potential academically, athletically, and personally,
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
Collaborate with athletic department staff on scheduling, budget management, and other administrative duties.
Maintain compliance with NCAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of integrity in all aspects of coaching and program management.

Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations governing collegiate women's soccer,
Effective organizational and administrative capabilities for managing team logistics, scheduling, and budgeting.
Education: Education: Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
