Role Description The Head of Marketing is a full-time, on-site role based in Rockville, VA, responsible for leading all marketing strategy and execution for Silver Brands. This role oversees brand positioning across all restaurant concepts, develops integrated marketing plans, and manages campaigns that drive guest traffic, sales growth, and brand loyalty. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing market research, analyzing performance data, and translating insights into actionable plans for promotions, menu launches, digital engagement, and local store marketing. The Head of Marketing will collaborate closely with Operations, Culinary, Finance, and HR to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives and the company’s fresh, local food philosophy. This role also manages agency and vendor relationships, oversees budgets, mentors marketing team members, and safeguards consistent brand standards across all channels, including social media, public relations, and in-restaurant communications.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Market Planning and Marketing Management to develop, implement, and optimize multi-channel marketing strategies for a multi-unit restaurant brand.
  • Demonstrated experience in Market Research, including consumer insights, competitive analysis, and performance measurement to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Sales and Operations teams to design and support initiatives that drive guest counts, check growth, and overall revenue.
  • Background in Public Relations, including media outreach, reputation management, and community engagement, preferably within hospitality or foodservice.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or head-of-function role; multi-unit restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, loyalty programs, and analytics platforms.
