Position Summary

Thornton-Donovan School seeks a highly qualified and results-oriented professional to serve as Chief Revenue Officer & Admissions Recruiter. This senior leadership position is responsible for the strategic development and execution of all student recruitment, enrollment management, and admissions-related marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will oversee the full admissions lifecycle, ensuring the School achieves and sustains optimal enrollment. This individual will combine strategic planning, data analysis, and effective communication to promote Thornton-Donovan’s mission, academic programs, and community to prospective families. The role requires both independent initiative and close collaboration with the Headmaster, Board of Trustees, and administrative leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

Enrollment Strategy and Management

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to recruit, enroll, and retain a diverse and qualified student body
  • Monitor enrollment trends and utilize data to inform decision-making and long-term planning

Admissions Operations

  • Oversee all aspects of the admissions process, including inquiry management, application review, and decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and standards

Marketing and Communications

  • Collaborate in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the School’s mission and programs
  • Design and oversee the production of print and digital materials, including brochures, newsletters, and promotional content
  • Maintain and update the School’s website, with particular attention to admissions-related content
  • Ensure consistency and quality of the School’s brand across all platforms

Outreach and Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective families, providing clear and compelling information about the School
  • Plan and execute admissions events, including campus tours, open houses, school fairs, and community outreach initiatives
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with alumni to support engagement and development efforts

Institutional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Headmaster, Board of Trustees, and administrative team to support strategic initiatives and institutional growth
  • Participate in school events and represent Thornton-Donovan in external engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Marketing,or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in admissions, marketing, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience with digital marketing, branding, and enrollment management systems preferred


Compensation includes a base salary of $60,000 and performance-based commissionInterested candidates should submit the following materials:
