POSITION SUMMARY:Lamar Community College Lopes Men's Soccer with exceptional talent, teamwork, commitment, and coaches who care about the players as athletes, students, and people. LCC is seeking an energetic and dedicated assistant soccer coach to join our men's team and mentor our male student-athletes. This position is a part-time, year-round assistant men’s soccer coaching position. The right candidate for this job will be enthusiastic and will be ready to contribute to the growth and success of the team.This position requires in-person work and all applicants outside of Lamar, Colorado must be willing to relocate.RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist to recruit student-athletes in accordance with NJCAA, Region IX and LCC rules and regulations including official and unofficial recruiting visits and admissions procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate Degree or euqivelant combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experienceplayingsocceratacollegiatelevel

  • Strongoralcommunicationskills
  • Disciplined to work productively with minimal supervision with a strong can-do attitude and an ability to roll up your sleeves to get things done

SALARY RANGE: This position offers compensation of Housing, Utilities, and Wi-Fi in addition to posted salary of $17,225.00 for the year on a limited 130-day contract.

This position is designated as a non-benefit-eligible role and is subject to all provisions outlined for that classification within the Colorado Community College System.

Employees in this position earn sick leave at a rate of one (1) hour for every thirty (30) hours worked.

Employees contribute to PERA.
