Your Role
The Global Sales Account Director is a proactive, revenue‑driven sales role within the Leisure & Lifestyle team of Hyatt Sales Force (HSF) EAME, part of Hyatt’s Global Sales organization. The position operates within a global, remote (hybrid) team environment. The role carries defined revenue targets and is responsible for growing total account revenue across all Hyatt brands and hotels worldwide. This is achieved through the strategic management of an assigned EAME leisure account portfolio, in line with Hyatt’s global Sales and Distribution strategy. The position focuses on building and maintaining long‑term, value‑driven customer relationships with Tour Operator partners, while managing accounts strategically and securing business for both regional and international hotels. The role also includes the planning and execution of customer events, roadshows, selected trade shows, and account‑specific marketing initiatives. In addition, it requires the analysis of performance data, reporting on market trends and insights, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of CRM information.

Your Responsibilities

  • Account Ownership & Growth: Own and grow a portfolio of leisure accounts across Transient and Group business, increasing total account value by engaging key decision‑makers and influencers.
  • Account Management: Manage day‑to‑day account activities, including leading trainings, presentations, and webinars for customers and hotels on Hyatt brands, products, destinations, and market dynamics, in collaboration with global teams.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key customer stakeholders, including senior‑level contacts, to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans, setting clear goals and driving global account strategies.
  • Business Development: Proactively generate and convert transient and group business for Hyatt hotels worldwide, following established sales strategies and processes.
  • Pipeline Management: Identify and develop new business opportunities using data insights to build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Sales & Marketing Activities: Plan and deliver revenue‑focused sales and marketing activities, including customer events, roadshows, selected trade shows, and targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Performance & Insights: Track and analyze account performance and potential, providing regular insights on trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Market Intelligence Sharing: Share customer and market insights with internal stakeholders to support alignment and commercial decision‑making.
  • CRM Management: Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date CRM information for each account, including account structure, needs, plans, partnerships, and competitive landscape.
  • Global Collaboration: Lead and coordinate global account teams and work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver results aligned with Hyatt’s global sales and distribution strategy.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in hotel sales, including both property‑level and corporate roles
  • At least 5 years of experience in the leisure market within German‑speaking countries (DACH), ideally at corporate level
  • Strong knowledge of the Tour Operator landscape in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
  • Experience working in a global, international business environment
  • Proven ability to lead or coordinate cross‑functional and virtual account teams
  • Solid understanding of leisure sales and distribution channels and the commercial differences between urban and resort hotels
  • Strong cross‑functional commercial knowledge, including Sales, Revenue Management, Distribution, and Marketing
  • Advanced MS Office skills; experience with CRM systems and reporting tools is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, diverse team
  • Based in or willingness to relocate to Germany
