Global Mobility Associate (Part-Time, Interim)
Location: Glenview, IL
Schedule: 25–30 hours per week
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Global Mobility Associate to support a decentralized corporate environment with complex mobility needs. This interim, part-time role will serve as a key liaison across internal stakeholders and external vendors, helping manage both relocation and immigration processes for employee moves.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in global mobility programs, including advanced knowledge of relocation services, immigration coordination, and H-1B visa processes. This person must also be highly analytical, proactive, and comfortable bringing ideas and process improvements to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support global mobility activity, with a focus on employee relocation and immigration
- Coordinate closely with external mobility vendors, including relocation partners to ensure a smooth employee experience
- Serve as a liaison between employees, HR, hiring managers, and third-party providers for housing, relocation logistics, and immigration matters
- Support and help oversee H-1B visa processes, including cases currently in progress
- Navigate a highly decentralized organization with multiple stakeholders and moving parts
- Monitor mobility volume and ensure timely execution across active cases
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and bring forward thoughtful, analytical recommendations
- Help ensure compliance and consistency across mobility practices and procedures
Qualifications
- Experience at the Senior Specialist or Manager level in global mobility, relocation, and/or immigration
- Strong background in advanced relocation and immigration processes
- Prior experience working with mid-size to large organizations, preferably in complex or decentralized environments
- Experience managing a reasonable volume of mobility cases
- Knowledge of H-1B visa administration/processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations, solve problems, and recommend improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
The salary range for this position is $40.00 to $50.00 hr. Benefits available to contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
