About the Position
Selig is seeking a dynamic Manager, Global Accounting Operations to lead and optimize centralized processes within a global shared services model. This role is responsible for overseeing core transactional accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll-related entries, cash flow forecasting and support for related controlled period-end close processes.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong foundation in transactional accounting, process improvement, and systems, with the ability to operate effectively across a global, multi-site organization. This individual will play a key role in advancing Selig’s shared services operating model and supporting continued growth across the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Position Responsibilities
- Lead the transition to and management of a centralized shared services function for core accounting areas, including AP, AR, payroll-related journal entries and support related reconciliations
- Continuously assess and improve accounting workflows to optimize service delivery, scalability, and internal control compliance
- Implement best practices across Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash cycles
- Lead cash flow forecasting, and connect to transactional functions
- Partner closely with IT and functional partners to support ERP system integration and automation
- Support the implementation of a scalable global accounting operating model
- Manage and develop a global team, fostering collaboration, professional development, and high performance
- Promote clear and consistent communication between global finance and business unit teams
- Deliver training and guidance to ensure consistent adoption of processes and tools
- Perform other duties, including ad-hoc special projects and financial analysis, as required

Experience and Education
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in accounts receivable or accounts payable, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), particularly AP, AR and related financial areas
- Experience with shared services models and centralization of accounting functions is highly preferred
- Experience in organizations demonstrating strong internal controls in a global environment
- Relevant accounting designation preferred – CPA, CMA or equivalent experience
- Degree in accounting or related field preferred
