About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a respected Charleston-area commercial glazing contractor specializing in storefront and curtain wall systems.
This is steady, local commercial work. You’ll be working on structured, GC-driven projects where precision, clean execution, and craftsmanship are the standard.
If you take pride in installs that pass inspection the first time and want a clear path into Lead or Foreman roles, this is a strong next step.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for installing aluminum storefront and curtain wall systems from layout through completion, ensuring every install meets spec, tolerance, and quality expectations.
This is a hands-on role where your ability to execute clean installs and adapt in the field directly impacts project success.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
- Independently install storefront systems from layout through glass set
- Execute curtain wall sections meeting elevation and plumb tolerances
- Perform field adjustments without causing rework delays
- Coordinate with foremen and GCs to avoid install conflicts
- Minimize punch-list items through clean, accurate installs
- Maintain a zero-incident safety record
Key Responsibilities
- Layout and anchor aluminum storefront framing systems
- Install curtain wall mullions, pressure plates, and caps
- Perform field fabrication (cuts, drilling, modifications)
- Safely set insulated and tempered glass units
- Seal systems to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and material control

- History of producing inspection-ready work
