Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and fabricating quality electronic equipment. With opportunities to work across various functional areas, you will contribute to the seamless production process, ensuring the highest standards are met in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate or assemble electronic equipment according to written work instructions.
  • Adapt to multiple work areas daily based on established patterns.
  • Deliver materials to the point of consumption in response to Kanban signals.
  • Accurately perform inventory transactions.
  • Actively participate in Tier 1 daily management system (DMS) meetings.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Essential Skills
  • Manufacturing experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with small parts.
  • Ability to read and interpret English.
  • Competency in using computers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 0 - 1 years of related work experience.
  • Training in and experience with Lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with computers and Windows.

Work Environment

Work within a brand new, state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facility designed like a football field. You will start in one end-zone with raw materials, proceed through SMT & AOI machines, and finish in the assembly/hand add area, ending in the packaging/shipping department.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
