Job Description

This role involves working in a large industrial laundry facility to sort, inspect, and prepare clean garments for distribution. You will handle general production and packaging tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Sort, fold, and separate clean garments according to established procedures.
• Inspect garments for quality, ensuring items are clean, undamaged, and correctly matched.
• Push carts of garments to designated areas within the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
• Package and prepare garments for shipment or delivery, following specific packing instructions.
• Perform general labor and production tasks as assigned to support daily workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures while working on the production floor.
• Work on your feet for the full shift while meeting productivity and quality targets.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of previous manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Experience with general labor and general production tasks.
• Experience with sorting, packing, and packaging in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail for accurate inspection and matching of garments.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in inspection and quality checks within a production or warehouse setting.
• Background in picking and packing operations.
• Comfort working in an industrial or high-volume facility.
• Reliability and strong work ethic, with consistent attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large industrial laundromat with a busy, production-focused atmosphere. Work is performed on-site, primarily on your feet, with frequent movement around the facility and regular handling of garment carts and packages. There are multiple openings across two shifts: first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The environment includes industrial equipment and machinery typical of a high-volume laundry and production operation, and you should expect a fast-paced setting with clear safety and operational procedures.

This is a Contract position based out of Painesville, OH.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Painesville,OH.
