General Laborer

Job Title: General Laborers - Construction or Manufacturing

Pay range: $19-$24/hr depending on experience

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to support operations at construction sites and manufacturing facilities in the Charleston, SC area. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable performing physical labor, working with their hands, and following safety procedures in fast-paced environments. Duties may vary depending on assignment and may include outdoor construction work or indoor manufacturing and fabrication tasks.

Construction General Labor Site Duties

• Assist with pipe laying, trenching, and digging
• Load, unload, and move construction materials
• Use hand tools and basic power tools
• Support skilled tradespeople as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow site-specific safety rules and procedures

Manufacturing & Fabrication General Labor Duties

• Deburring, grinding, and finishing metal parts
• Assist with basic metal fabrication tasks
• Operate small tools and equipment (training provided)
• Inspect parts for quality and defects
• Package, label, and prepare materials for shipment
• Keep work areas organized and clean

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, standing, and working on your feet for extended periods
• Willingness to work indoors or outdoors in varying conditions
• Basic hand tool knowledge preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to safety and quality
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

• Construction, utility, or pipe-laying experience
• Manufacturing, metal fabrication, or deburring experience
• Forklift or equipment operation experience (a plus)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Repetitive motion, standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• May involve outdoor construction sites or indoor manufacturing facilities
• Exposure to weather, noise, dust, and industrial equipment depending on assignment

This is a Contract position based out of SUMMERVILLE, SC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
