ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: Maintenance

SUPERVISOR: Director of Maintenance

Pay Range: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour

FLSA: Non-Exempt/Hourly

ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.

**Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable**

JOB SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our outdoor spaces, including lawns, flower beds, and trees. This role involves mowing, edging, trimming, and performing various landscaping duties to ensure our grounds are well-kept and inviting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Mow and edge lawns, to maintain a neat appearance.
• Trim grass and weeds in hard-to-reach areas using hand tools and power equipment.
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and enhance appearance.

· Cut down and remove trees as needed.

· Water and fertilize plants and flowers to ensure optimal growth.

• Prepare and maintain flower beds, including planting, weeding, and mulching.

· Clean and maintain garden tools and equipment.

• Maintain accurate records of activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

· Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, etc.).

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have high school diploma or GED.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
• Rare but when needed, the willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
