About us

Figwork is building the infrastructure for a new kind of talent marketplace. We help companies transform business problems into structured, quality-verified deliverables through a network of vetted contractors. Instead of generic hiring, we focus on matching the right talent to specific business needs and delivering real outcomes.

We are looking for a highly capable Full Stack Software Engineer to help build the core product and technical foundation of Figwork from the ground up. This is an opportunity to work directly on critical systems that power the platform, from user-facing workflows to backend architecture and internal operations. You will be joining at an early stage, which means a high level of ownership, speed, and responsibility.

What you’ll do

  • Build and ship core product features across frontend and backend
  • Design scalable systems and workflows for task creation, contractor matching, payments, verification, and platform operations
  • Work closely with the founders to turn product ideas into production-ready systems
  • Improve product reliability, speed, and user experience across the platform
  • Help shape engineering standards, architecture decisions, and long-term technical direction

What we’re looking for

  • Strong full stack engineering ability
  • Comfortable working across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure
  • Able to move quickly, solve problems independently, and handle pressure in a fast-paced startup environment
  • High ownership mindset and willingness to build from zero
  • We care far more about capability, execution, and judgment than background or years of experience

Why Figwork

  • Build core infrastructure at the ground floor of a high-ambition startup
  • Work directly with the founders on meaningful product and technical decisions
  • Take on real ownership from day one
  • Competitive compensation and significant upside
