Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Portsmouth, RI, for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage daily financial operations, including preparing and maintaining financial statements, creating journal entries, and overseeing bookkeeping processes. Additional responsibilities include handling payroll taxes and ensuring compliance with accounting principles, as well as providing accurate financial records to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Financial Statements and maintaining accurate financial records
• Competence in creating and managing Journal Entries and general Bookkeeping tasks
• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and compliance requirements
• Experience in Accounting principles and practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software; QuickBooks experience is a plus
• Experience in a job shop manufacturing business is a plus
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
