Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the full cycle of accounting functions for our organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare financial statements and internal reports
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll records
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documentation
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with budget tracking
  • Prepare and file sales tax, payroll tax, and other routine tax documents
  • Assist with audits and year-end close activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, Bookkeeper, or similar accounting role
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
