Freelance Senior Production Coordinator – Women's Accessories
Pay: $37.67/hour
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6–8 month contract (maternity leave coverage)
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a Freelance Senior Production Coordinator to support the development and production of women's accessories from concept through production. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams, overseas vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seasonal milestones, costing, production timelines, and deliveries are successfully managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate product development and production timelines from concept to delivery
- Manage seasonal calendars, key milestones, and approval deadlines
- Communicate daily with overseas vendors regarding development, production, and deliveries
- Review costing, analyze quotes, and escalate challenges as needed
- Partner with Buyers and Planners on production planning, costs, and delivery schedules
- Lead cross-functional meetings and provide production status updates
- Monitor production issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Maintain accurate records within PLM, purchase order, and tracking systems
- Support process improvements, reporting, and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4–6 years of production, sourcing, or product development experience
- Strong knowledge of production calendars, costing, and vendor management
- Experience with tracking systems such as Bamboo Rose or similar PLM platforms
- Advanced Excel and Google Workspace skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

- Experience in accessories, apparel, or fashion production
- Strong cross-functional partnership and project management experience
- Ability to work effectively with overseas vendors and global teams
