We want experienced financial leadership without a full-time hire: a hands-on partner to bring structure to our finances, sharpen decision-making, and build the systems a scaling firm needs. This is a fractional engagement with real influence on how the business is run.
What the engagement involves
- Owning financial strategy, planning, and forecasting for a small, growing firm
- Building practical reporting and dashboards around the metrics that matter (margin, revenue per head, cash flow, utilization)
- Designing our compensation and incentive structure, including an ownership-aligned upside component (for example phantom equity, profit sharing, or similar) suited to a privately held company
- Bringing rigor to budgeting, pricing, and cash flow management
- Putting lightweight, low-administration systems in place that the team can actually maintain
You may be a strong fit if you have
- Experience as a fractional, interim, or full-time CFO, ideally with professional services or other people-driven businesses
- A track record bringing financial structure to small or privately held companies
- Comfort designing compensation and incentive plans, including equity or equity-alternative structures and the practical tradeoffs between them
- A practical, build-it-yourself orientation rather than a large-enterprise mindset
