Chief Financial Officer - CPA Firm

A well-established, highly profitable boutique CPA firm in the Bradenton–Sarasota area is looking for a client-facing CFO to step into a front-of-the-room advisory and business development role.

This is not an internal finance seat. The firm runs a fully outsourced accounting model — CFO advisory, back-office accounting, attestation, tax, and forensic services — for a portfolio of multi-entity business owners. You'd be the outward-facing financial leader: delivering strategic advisory directly to owners, driving business development, and expanding the firm's relationships.

What you bring:

• Active CPA license — required (or in the works)
• 10–15+ years in finance leadership (CFO, Fractional CFO, or Senior Finance Director)
• Proven client-facing advisory experience with business owners
• Real business development track record — networking, referrals, prospect conversations
• Tax strategy fluency; ideal, not required
• Comfort across industries: construction, real estate, healthcare, professional services, manufacturing
