One of our clients — a stealth, early-stage AI company backed by Founders Fund and OpenAI — is hiring an early-stage Forward Deployed Engineer (employee #7+). You'll embed inside Fortune-500 customers, do extensive process mining on their messiest workflows, and use the company's new "AI programming language" — which mixes structured control flow with unstructured English instructions — to automate the most complex processes in the world.
A current customer (VP of Operations) said: "We tried 130 different AI tools last year and churned all of them except this one. It not only worked, it accelerated our entire business."
💻 Location: SF or NYC (on-site, in-person)
💰 Comp Range: $150K–$220K base + meaningful equity
🌍 Stage: Early (employee #7+)

🛠️ Stack: The company's own AI programming language + LLM tooling (GPT, Claude, agents)
What You'll Do
� Run process mining sessions with enterprise customers — break down ambiguous workflows into precise, automatable steps
🧱 Build robust automations using the company's AI-English programming language
💬 Own deployments end-to-end — pilot to full production rollout
🔁 Operate as the customer's trusted technical partner — relationship + delivery
🌍 Set the playbook for how this company scales FDE across its customer base
You Might Be a Fit If You…
Have real-world SWE experience and ship production code
Came from a top university OR a high-bar startup (FAANG / unicorn / YC / similar)
Have founding-engineer or founder experience (strong plus)
Enjoy customer conversations and translating mess into structure
