Foreclosure Paralegal

Our law firm client, a well‑established firm with more than 110 attorneys, serves large corporations, small businesses, and governmental entities across a wide range of transactional and litigation practice areas. They are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Paralegal to join their Foreclosure, Evictions, and Bankruptcy Practice Group in Columbia, SC. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment alongside experienced attorneys on high‑volume matters.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of foreclosure, eviction, and bankruptcy cases, tracking deadlines from intake through resolution
• Draft, prepare, and file pleadings and legal documents in state and federal courts, including electronic filing
• Assist attorneys with foreclosure, eviction, and bankruptcy matters, including proofs of claim and motions for relief from stay
• Communicate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel; coordinate service of process and monitor case progress
• Prepare materials for hearings and court appearances while maintaining accurate and confidential records

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, or litigation
• Experience with state and federal e‑filing
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
