Senior Food Technologist / Product Development Scientist/Food Scientist
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new food products and optimization of existing ones.
- Create and refine benchtop prototypes.
- Plan, execute, and oversee production-scale test runs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to guide product decisions.
- Develop initial product specifications and documentation.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Food Technologist or in a similar product development role.
- Demonstrated higher level of expertise and additional experience compared to a standard Food Technologist.
- In-depth knowledge of food ingredient functionality, product development, food processing, nutrition, and food labeling regulations.
- Hands-on capability to mix, process, and evaluate formulas as required.
- Experience planning, coordinating, and running plant test trials.
