Food & Beverage Manager
Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage
Salary: $75k - $85k
Fouquet’s New York is looking for a qualified and highly motivated Food & Beverage Manager who shares a passion for Hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the Head of Food and Beverage to manage daily operations of the restaurant and at times as needed other food and beverage areas
- Appoint and delegate tasks and responsibilities to staff as directed by General Manager
- Ensure standard operating procedures are upheld
- Lead by example
- Ensures smooth operations by planning, delegating, and clearly communicating responsibilities to staff and providing coaching and feedback as needed
- Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
- Manage restaurant supplies
- Displays a customer-comes-first mentality and ensures the team delivers exceptional customer service to all guests
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years in a management role in the high-end Restaurant/ luxury hotel in New York City
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
- Culinary certificate or comparable experience preferred
- Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, humility and leadership
- Proven team player is willing to roll up your sleeves - a good leader should be willing and able to do whatever he or she asks of their team!
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Food Handler’s Permit or ServSafe Manager’s Certification
