Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club, part of Heritage Golf Group, is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our leadership team. This position plays a key role in overseeing daily food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service for members and guests while supporting a positive and high-performing team environment.


The Food & Beverage Manager will work closely with the Food & Beverage Director to manage multiple dining outlets, coordinate service standards, and drive operational excellence across the club’s food and beverage programs.


Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for assisting with the daily management of front-of-house food and beverage operations, including restaurant service, bar operations, events support, and staff leadership. This role focuses on delivering outstanding member experiences, maintaining service standards, and ensuring efficient and profitable operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Food & Beverage Director in overseeing daily operations across all food and beverage outlets.
  • Lead and supervise front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, and service support team members.
  • Ensure exceptional service standards and a high-quality dining experience for members and guests.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Support club events, tournaments, and private functions to ensure smooth service execution.
  • Monitor service quality, member satisfaction, and operational efficiency during service periods.
  • Assist in managing labor costs and maintaining staffing levels aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Support inventory controls and assist with ordering and supply management.
  • Partner with the culinary team to ensure smooth coordination between front and back of house.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of food and beverage management or supervisory experience in a restaurant, club, resort, or hospitality environment.
  • Experience working in a private club, country club, or upscale hospitality environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service operations, bar service, and hospitality best practices.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
