This position is responsible for all commercial operations' fleet vehicles. This position manages the leasing, maintenance, support, and regulatory compliance of vehicles assigned to personnel from various departments throughout the company. Additionally, this position oversees telematics data analytics, maintenance and repairs fleet vehicles.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Work Arrangement:
This is a hybrid position. During the initial onboarding period (approximately the first month), the role will require an on-site presence of approximately 3–5 days per week. After this period, the schedule is expected to gradually transition to 2–3 days per week on-site, with the potential to further reduce to 1–2 days per week based on business needs.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for all commercial operations' fleet vehicles. This position manages the leasing, maintenance, support, and regulatory compliance of vehicles assigned to personnel from various departments throughout the company. Additionally, this position oversees telematics data analytics, maintenance and repairs fleet vehicles.
This position works closely with accounts payable on billing responsibilities, reducing fleet expenses and waste. Work with other leaders to meet organizational and budgeting priorities.
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Provides effective management of commercial operations' fleet vehicles through oversight, consultation, and resolution of problems arising in policies and procedures. Maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders which impact fleet operations. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors. Manage vehicle life, coordinate vehicle replacement with timing of sale to achieve optimal market value. Analyze the effectiveness of fleet operation Management and understanding of systems and follow up on insights to effectively manage assets.
2. Develops and implements operational goals and objectives for the commercial operations fleet. Generates appropriate reports to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Senior Leadership as it relates to driver compliance to safety policies. Collectively mitigating company liability, reducing vehicle accidents and incidents by improving driver safety awareness.
3. Focuses on promoting quality and safety by ensuring driver competence through available safe driver training. Collaborates with ERM Driver Safety Team and department leaders to ensure driver participation in safe driving education. Oversight of the telematics software and fleet technology to manage and track performance trends of drivers and vehicles allowing for minimization of downtime and mechanical failure as well as minimizing unsafe driver behaviors.
4. Provides direct financial management for commercial operations fleet vehicles and their support programs. Monitors and reviews gasoline card utilization. Manages repair and maintenance program cost through aggressive price negotiation. Coordinates service and routine maintenance of vehicles. Tracks, oversees, and coordinates license and registration of vehicles. Schedules and/or coordinates emission control inspections as required.� May need to help with trade or sales of vehicles in direct partnership with commercial fleet company Banner is partnered with.
5. Provides support for other department managers by providing appropriate reports and consultation on fleet matters. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports of fleet operations for distribution to user departments and finance. Coordinates fleet financial activities through periodic review.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess relevant knowledge as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in a pertinent field, or an equivalent level of experience and education. Three or more years of fleet management experience.

Understand and able to manage telematics data.� Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
