The ideal candidate is comfortable working on a wide range of residential construction tasks, communicates clearly with clients and team members, and represents the company with professionalism on every jobsite.Key Responsibilities:Perform high‑quality carpentry work, with an emphasis on finish carpentryAssist with and perform tasks across multiple trades, including:Basic electricalPlumbingMechanical and general constructionSupport remodels, new construction, and tenant improvement projects from start to finishWork efficiently within small crews and collaborate closely with project leadsInteract professionally with clients, subcontractors, and inspectorsMaintain clean, organized, and safe job sitesTravel to project locations primarily in Los Altos and Palo Alto, with occasional work across the South Bay and PeninsulaQualifications:Strong carpentry skills; finish carpentry experience especiallyBroad knowledge of residential construction methods and multi‑trade skillsAbility to read plans, follow instructions, and problem‑solve independentlyClean‑cut, professional appearance suitable for client‑facing workStrong communication skills in EnglishReliable transportation and valid driver’s licenseAbility to lift materials, use tools safely, and work in various jobsite conditionsPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality craftsmanshipWhy Join?Work with a small, skilled team that values craftsmanship and integrityOpportunities to grow your skill set across multiple tradesSteady, high‑quality residential projects in desirable areasA company culture built on trust, respect, and pride in the work we deliverMust Haves: Extensive Experience with FINISH carpentry skillsKnows how to use power tools, hand tools, different variety of saws MUST be strong in finish carpentry in regards to cabinetry, bathroom remodels, etc. Must be able drive own truck from San Jose to Palo Alto as 90% of their jobs are in that region. Strong preference for candidates in the immediate South Bay (San Jose, Campbell, Peninsula and Fremont regions) Understands blueprints and schematicsExpected to hit the ground running doing finish carpentry work and left on jobs with no supervision Added bonus if has experience and knowledge working with subcontractors (electrical, paint, plumbing, etc.) Has to be exceptional at client interface and talking to customers, subcontractors and must be aware of surroundings (high emotional intelligence)

This is a Contract position based out of Los Altos, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
