Financial Systems Analyst

Our client is seeking a senior-level contractor to support their Finance Technology organization on a long-term assignment, contributing to both current systems and future-state enhancements.

The Finance Technology team brings together system analysts, automation experts, and transformation specialists who support Finance operations and enterprise-wide initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects that help shape future business processes and technology solutions.

The contractor will collaborate with Finance Technology stakeholders, business leaders, and transformation teams, providing subject matter expertise that supports strategic decision-making and delivers meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in process and system analysis, including gathering business requirements, assessing current processes, and supporting future-state system design.
• Contribute to future-state finance process planning and design across key areas such as Source to Pay, Record to Report, and Contract to Close.
• Provide input on current-state pain points, desired outcomes, and integration requirements.
• Assist in the design and execution of finance-related test scenarios.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies; JIRA experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes (AP, AR, GL, project costing, financial reporting, payroll/timekeeping).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Power BI, ERP implementations, and cross-functional project work preferred.
