Financial Reporting Manager


We are currently working with a fun, fast paced PE owned manufacturing client on a Manager of Financial Reporting to support external and internal financial reporting, technical accounting, audit activities, process development and investor‑related deliverables. This role offers strong visibility and collaboration across accounting, FP&A, tax, operations finance, commercial finance, and external partners. Job Duties:

  • Manage the annual and quarterly 10‑K / 10‑Q equivalent financial reports, including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A
  • Manage month‑end close including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis related to lease and debt accounting as well as stock compensation
  • Manage investor relations documents, earnings releases and preparation of tie-outs to include investor presentations, earnings call scripts, and Q&A materials
  • Support M&A activities, including purchase accounting and fair value analyses
  • Partner cross‑functionally with finance leadership, tax, legal, auditors, and external advisors
  • Technical accounting research on complex transactions ensuring adherence to GAAP
  • Review and enhance accounting policies
  • Internal controls documentation


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least 2+ years of public accounting experience - preferred
  • Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Technical accounting knowledge SEC reporting and US GAAP
  • SOX controls implementation - preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate


Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000+ significant bonus

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid
