Financial Controller(Manufacturing)
The Controller is responsible for managing and controlling all financial activities within a designated business segment or division. This role ensures the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial operations while supporting strategic decision‑making through timely reporting, forecasting, and cost analysis. The Controller partners closely with operations, commercial teams, and corporate finance to maintain strong financial governance and drive performance.
- Manufacturing industry experience

Responsibilities:
- Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department).
- Applied experience using finance and accounting skills in labor-based consumer goods manufacturing.
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking, and analysis/reporting of financial data.
- Manage the monthly accounting close.
- Financial Reporting
- Maintain corporate accounting policies.
- Supervise employees performing financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting duties.
- To prepare and maintain the plant P&L, annual budgets, maintain GAAP control of financial responsibilities and provide analytical support to all plant functions and plant internal customers.
- Carry out various ad-hoc projects related to manufacturing operations cost and expense analysis that may from time to time be allocated to the Finance department.
- Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.
- Coordinate and manage the annual financial statement audit and tax audit, ensuring timely completion and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, management reports, and performance insights to senior leadership.
- Develop and implement processes for collections, denials, appeals, payment posting, customer communication, and related financial reporting.
- Lead and coordinate the financial planning and budgeting process, including integration of departmental and organizational budgets.
- Oversee daily financial operations including inventory accounting, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and cost tracking.
- Maintain accurate general ledger activity and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls..
- Ensure reporting accuracy in accordance with IFRS and internal standards.
- Lead annual budget development and monthly forecasting cycles.
- Monitor performance against targets and provide insights to management.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably with IFRS 15 and revenue recognition exposure.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to interpret financial and legal documents and communicate complex information clearly.
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and attention to detail.
