Beacon Search Group has a client in the Lancaster, OH area seeking a Financial Analyst. This is a direct hire position with great benefits and incentives.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and compliant accounting records
Perform bank reconciliations and support financial transactions
Review capital expenditures and ensure proper coding
Manage fixed assets, tooling schedules, and related reconciliations
Track and update program-related purchase orders and cash disbursements
Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast)
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting documentation
Support engineering and program teams with financial processes
Collaborate with AR/AP to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
Maintain and analyze financial data in Excel spreadsheet
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and business planning
Perform additional accounting duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA)
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Automotive industry experience preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, flexible environment
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
Maintains confidentiality with professionalism and discretion
