About the Role: Northwestern Mutual: Bouchard Financial Group is seeking 3-4 new Financial Advisors to join our growing practice. Financial industry experience and financial degree are NOT required—our top advisors come from all backgrounds! Strong applicants will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a history of personal success, and a demonstrated interest in business, finance, and entrepreneurism.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and innovative solutions for the financial planning needs of individuals and businesses in the areas of retirement planning, insurance and investment services, estate planning, business planning, education funding, and employee benefits.
  • Obtain company-sponsored state insurance licenses (215, SIE, Series 6 and Series 63).
  • Prospecting, networking and finding referrals to identify and pursue potential clients while maintaining a strong client base.
  • Maintain compliance with all rules and regulations in the financial industry.
  • Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.

Pay range and compensation package: This career is primarily performance and commission based allowing you to control what you would want to earn at any given time in your career. Your compensation package includes:

  • Uncapped commission
  • Paid training/stipend
  • Bonuses/fees/benefits package
  • Residual and renewal recurring income based on a 97% client retention rate


To give you an idea, our financial professionals are making on average about $82,000 in their first year, and there is potential for much more.

Qualifications:

  • Required: legally authorized to work in the United States (we don’t offer visa sponsorship at this time) and must live in SWFL (we don’t offer relocation package).
  • This role requires company sponsored licensing and contracting, which includes clearing a criminal and civil background check.
  • This role involves handling client assets and sensitive financial information. Ideally no pending bankruptcies or unresolved financial obligations—including past-due balances over $25,000—that can impact your ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
