Lead financial oversight across the full project lifecycle, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, financial reporting, and project closeout.
Monitor and analyze project costs related to engineering, materials, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Perform project margin analysis, track financial variances, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and mitigate risks.
Manage project cash flow, including billing schedules, milestone invoicing, collections, and working capital performance.
Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal financial policies.
Support engineering change order (ECO) pricing analysis, cost impact evaluations, and establish systems to track changes and recoveries.
Develop, maintain, and enhance project financial tracking tools, dashboards, and management reports to provide leadership with visibility into project performance, risks, and forecasts.
Partner closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams to support financial planning, project execution, and decision making.
Support internal and external audits related to project financials and ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and controls.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and project cost management systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project finance, project controlling, or cost management, preferably in industrial automation, robotics, or capital equipment industries.
Strong knowledge of project accounting principles, cost tracking, forecasting, revenue recognition, and financial controls.
Proven experience supporting complex, multi phase, customer driven projects.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting; experience with QuickBooks required.
Experience developing dashboards and financial reporting tools; familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools is preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work cross functionally in a fast paced project environment and communicate effectively with technical and financial stakeholders.
Chinese Mandarin language proficiency is preferred to support collaboration with global teams, suppliers, and headquarters.
