Project Overview

  • Temporary support role for the Federal Bridge File Project
  • Objective: Assist in completing and organizing bridge documentation across the state

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and organize documents to complete each bridge file
  • Utilize and navigate state business systems to build documentation
  • Conduct research using “As-Builts” and coordinate with Archive Department when needed
  • Perform detailed and complex file research and documentation

Core Tasks

  • Research and review required bridge files
  • Identify and properly catalog bridge records
  • Scan and convert hard copy documents into electronic files (PDF format)
  • Convert existing TIF files into PDF format
  • Index and store files in designated locations
  • Conduct thorough audits of each bridge file and document any discrepancies
  • Provide written justification for incomplete files after full research
  • Track daily completion of bridge files
  • Create monthly reporting/analysis as needed
  • Support additional tasks to ensure complete and accurate documentation

Qualifications

  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with research and asking questions when needed
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
