Field Service Engineer Role Purpose

  • Responsible for integration, testing, deployment, and field support of multidisciplinary systems (mechanical, electrical, and software).
  • Acts as a customer-facing technical lead, supporting R&D-related projects and managing customer interactions throughout deployment and operation.


Responsibilities

  • Lead customer-facing technical activities, acting as a focal point between R&D/Operation and the customer
  • Perform installation, integration, and commissioning of systems at customer sites (domestic and international)
  • Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and system repair
  • Manage and execute in-house repairs and maintenance activities
  • Conduct system testing (functional, communication, software, and hardware)
  • Deliver system demonstrations and operational training to customers
  • Prepare reports, document faults, and provide feedback to R&D teams
  • Support deployment, upgrades, and operational activities in the field


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in system integration, testing, or field service


Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of electronics and ability to read schematics
  • Experience with communication protocols (TCP/IP, RS232/RS485)
  • Understanding of mechanical systems
  • Experience with test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope – advantage)
  • Experience with Embedded systems / Linux – advantage
  • High-level English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Domain Knowledge – Advantage
  • Experience with optomechanical systems
  • Familiarity with stabilized gimbals
  • Knowledge of counter-drone (C-UAS) systems
  • Experience with remotely controlled weapon systems (RCWS)
