The Role

We are looking for a full-time Field Service Technician – Industrial Mechanic to join our field team in the Charlotte, NC area. In this role, you will be the hands-on expert our customers rely on — performing repairs, upgrades, and maintenance on warehouse automation equipment including stacker cranes and load-handling devices. You will also conduct product training for customers, ensuring they get the most out of their systems.

Typical working hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with scheduling flexibility based on customer needs. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

A Typical Day

You handle field service work and repairs across our customer sites — fixing and upgrading warehouse facilities using MIAS products to make operations more modern and efficient. You maintain heavy equipment including stacker cranes and load-handling devices, always with a strong focus on safety. You also conduct product training for customers, making sure they are fully comfortable with their systems. It is hands-on, varied work with visible impact.

What We're Looking For

• Completed apprenticeship as a construction or industrial mechanic, or equivalent qualification
• 2+ years of experience with automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) or load handling preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Strong computer skills
• Valid driver's license
