Family Law Attorney

We are looking for a Family Law Attorney for a well‑established family law practice in Denton, TX. This role will manage a diverse family law caseload, appear in court regularly, and work closely with senior attorneys in a collaborative, in‑office environment.

Job Logistics

• Shifts / Hours: Full‑time
• Location: Denton, TX
• Work model: Onsite

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle divorce, custody, and related family law matters
• Appear at hearings, mediations, and contested proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff
• Provide professional, client‑focused legal service

REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctor
• Active Texas Bar license or ability to obtain promptly
• Family law experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with client‑facing work

Plusses:

• Courtroom and trial experience
• Local Denton County experience

Compensation

Compensation: $110,000 to $120,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
