We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of a network of infrastructure facilities throughout the Olympia region.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring buildings, equipment, and site infrastructure remain safe, operational, and well maintained.
The role involves working independently across multiple sites while collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to plan and execute facility maintenance work.
What You'll Do
Perform a wide range of building and facility maintenance activities including:
- Building repairs, minor remodeling, and carpentry work
- Plumbing repairs and facility modifications
- Preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
- Maintenance and repair of doors, windows, and roofing systems
- Concrete repair and structural patching
- Fence installation and repair
- Grounds maintenance and snow removal
- Equipment lubrication and mechanical upkeep
- Facility inspections and condition assessments
- Maintaining maintenance records and schedules
You will also coordinate with vendors and contractors performing maintenance work at facilities.
Work Environment
- Field-based position supporting multiple facilities
- Primarily independent work with coordination across operations teams
- Approximately 20% travel to regional facilities
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of facility maintenance or building maintenance experience
- Experience using hand tools and shop tools
- Ability to perform general building maintenance across multiple trades
