Fabrication Production Supervisor
The Fabrication Supervisor oversees daily shop‑floor operations, ensuring high‑quality fabrication work, safe practices, and efficient workflow. This role provides hands‑on technical support, leads and trains fabrication employees, and ensures all work meets blueprint specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating work assignments, monitoring production output, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safety‑focused environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise daily fabrication activities, ensuring work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
- Provide hands‑on support in fabrication tasks, including cutting, forming, fitting, and assembly.
- Use measuring and inspection tools—tape measures, calipers, and basic gauges—to verify part accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications to guide fabrication processes.
- Assist with TIG welding tasks when needed; support welders with setup, inspection, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and adjust priorities to meet production deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies, shop procedures, and quality standards, including ISO 9001 where applicable.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve fabrication issues and improve processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5 years of fabrication experience.
- Prior lead or working‑supervisor experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- AWS welding certification (a plus).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Proven experience in reducing plant production costs, and in increasing safety standards.
