We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to support production/ facility operations through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
QUALIFICATIONS
-Mechanical systems and equipment repair
-Industrial piping and plumbing
-Basic electrical and facility maintenance
-Welding experience required, including MIG, TIG, or stick welding in an industrial setting
-Pipefitting and pipe welding (stainless steel and/or carbon steel)
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is required to work in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time and engage in climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
TRAVEL
Local travel may be required to/from offsite storage facilities, suppliers, etc. using company or personal vehicles.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time, non-exempt shift-based position, hours as assigned:
Shift Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri)
OVERTIME
Overtime hours may be required or offered depending on plant and company needs but are not guaranteed.
COMPENSATION
$38 - $40 per hour. This position's pay rate depends on experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
