LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator who is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, and inventory activities to ensure smooth movement of goods through the supply chain. This role partners closely with vendors, carriers, warehouse teams, and internal departments to track shipments, resolve issues, and maintain accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare and maintain all shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs paperwork.
- Track, trace, and monitor freight movement; provide timely updates to internal teams and customers.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and warehouse staff to schedule pickups, deliveries, and resolve issues.
- Review customer orders for completeness, accuracy, and potential fulfillment delays.
- Assist with freight rate requests, carrier negotiations, and scheduling.
- Maintain shipment logs, delivery records, and inventory-related documentation.
- Investigate delayed, missing, or damaged shipments and assist with freight claims when necessary.
- Support inventory control through cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable transportation regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Operations) to resolve logistics-related concerns.
- Perform additional duties as required to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- At least 2–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or related field.
- Knowledge of shipment processes (LTL, FTL, ocean, air, parcel).
- Familiarity with carrier portals, TMS/WMS systems, or logistics software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Hours:
- 9:00am-5:30pm
- Monday through Friday
