RPStaffing is conducting an immediate search for the Administrative Associate with a Public Relations firm based in Washington DC. This position is hybrid, full time, and temp-to-hire. Apply today for immediate consideration.


Status: Temp-to-Hire

Office Location: Washington, D.C.

Hours: Full-Time Monday to Friday; 9:00-5:00

Hybrid Model: 3 days onsite, depending on events schedule

Hourly Compensation (before converting to permanent): $20.00 -$24.00 per hour, depending on experience


Key Responsibilities

Program and Event Execution

• Support planning and delivery of major initiatives and events

• Help coordinate timelines, logistics, and internal efforts


Stakeholder and Partner Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners

• Support outreach and engagement efforts


Communications Support

• Contribute to development of messaging and materials

• Support coordination of communications across teams and audiences


Operations and Team Coordination

• Support project tracking and cross-team coordination

• Help ensure work is aligned and moving forward


Organizational Support

• Provide support to leadership and internal processes

• Represent the organization in meetings and external engagements as needed


QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree plus direct experience within an association
  • Experience with events/ conferences
  • This person must be a strong high performer who can jump in immediately and make an impact
  • Must be organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
  • Able to support both event work and communications, with a partially external-facing presence
  • Able to assist with event execution and production and help keep everything moving without a lot of handholding
