EHS Specialist or EHS Lead
Salary range: up to $100,000 + 10% bonus (will not exceed $100,000 for this role)
HSE Specialist | Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
We’re hiring an HSE Specialist to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will drive regulatory compliance, strengthen safety culture, and lead continuous improvement efforts across the site.
What You’ll Do:
- Own HSE systems, metrics, and reporting; ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Lead ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 audits and drive ongoing system improvements
- Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, training, and leadership partnership
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions
- Oversee emergency preparedness, drills, and on-site response coordination
- Deliver employee and contractor safety training and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage HSE records, workers’ compensation cases, and environmental programs
- Support HSE budgeting and site-wide initiatives
What You Bring:
- Associate degree in HSE, Environmental Science, or related field
- 3+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 40-hour certification and ISO 14001/45001 internal auditor certification
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and digital systems
Nice to Have:
- CSP, CIH, or similar certifications
- Experience implementing or enhancing HSE management systems
