Job Title: Entry Level Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated assembly associates who will be responsible for modifying commercial HVAC units to meet customer specifications. These units are primarily received from Trane and require modifications or servicing, which includes tasks such as installation of raw valves, copper piping, controls, VFDs, fans, and wiring panels.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical assembly using hand and power tools from the first day.
  • Accurately measure and cut materials using a tape measure.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for assembly tasks.
  • Modify commercial HVAC units according to customer specifications.
  • Install raw valves, copper piping, controls, VFDs, fans, and wiring panels.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Skilled in using a tape measure.
  • Background in construction is highly beneficial.

  • Strong attendance and reliability.

Work Environment

Expect a typical job shop environment where conditions can be hot, dirty, and not optimally lit. Be prepared to work with galvanized steel in an industrial setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
