Job SummaryOur client is seeking a senior Solutions Architect / Delivery Lead (Consultant) to step into a critical architecture and technical leadership role on a large‑scale, enterprise modernization initiative. This consultant will provide end‑to‑end architectural ownership, delivery leadership, and operational support across a complex, highly regulated technology environment.This role blends enterprise solution architecture, hands‑on delivery leadership, and technical incident management. The consultant will work closely with engineering, data, security, infrastructure, and leadership teams to stabilize delivery, support knowledge transfer, guide architectural decisions, and oversee critical initiatives including data migration and system integrations.This is not a documentation‑only architecture role. The ideal candidate is decisive, hands‑on, and comfortable leading in ambiguous, high‑impact situations.Key ResponsibilitiesSolutions Architecture & Technical LeadershipServe as the primary Solutions Architect embedded with delivery teamsOwn and maintain end‑to‑end architectural understanding, including:Application services and APIsIntegration patterns and data flowsMiddleware and messaging layersInfrastructure, networking, firewall, and security dependenciesReview and guide architectural decisions across multiple teamsProvide enterprise‑level perspective while remaining delivery‑focusedDelivery Leadership & Incident ManagementAct as a technical delivery lead supporting execution, prioritization, and risk managementLead or actively support incident calls, escalations, and complex production issuesProvide calm, decisive leadership during outages or delivery interruptionsPartner closely with senior engineers and technical leads to unblock dependenciesKnowledge Transfer & Operational ReadinessLead knowledge‑transfer efforts from existing technical ownersParticipate in Q&A sessions to capture institutional knowledgeReview, refine, and establish runbooks, architectural documentation, and operational guidesIdentify gaps in system understanding and proactively address themData & Migration OversightProvide architectural oversight for large‑scale data migrations and data dumpsValidate migration strategies, cutover plans, and rollback approachesCollaborate with data, QA, and application teams to ensure safe executionTechnology Environment (Current Stack)This role operates within a modern, enterprise technology stack that includes:Core Application StackMicrosoft AzureC# / .NET (current versions with planned upgrades)Angular (enterprise frontend framework)SQL Server (multiple versions, active upgrades underway)Integration & PlatformAPI‑driven architectureMuleSoft (enterprise integration platform)Low‑code / workflow platforms (e.g., K2)Delivery & ToolingAzure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD, backlog management, and delivery trackingAgile / hybrid delivery model (Scrum, Kanban, scaled delivery)QA & Validation (Partnered Teams)Playwright + TypeScript for automationManual and automated regression validationAPI and data‑level testingInfrastructure & Security AwarenessEnterprise networking conceptsFirewalls, access controls, and secure integration patternsRegulated, audit‑conscious environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westerville, OH.

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $115.00/hr.
