We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Employee Relations Consultant who is passionate about fostering positive workplace relationships, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting leaders and employees through complex and often sensitive situations. Supporting the WorkforceThis role functions as a support position within the Human Resources department, working closely with HR leadership, HR Shared Services, and employee engagement partners. The Employee Relations Consultant helps support consistent HR practices and day‑to‑day operations while gaining hands‑on experience in employee relations, engagement, and HR support functions.
The Employee Relations Consultant provides day‑to‑day Human Resources support to employees and leaders by assisting with the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices. This role supports routine employee relations needs, helps promote consistent HR processes, and contributes to employee engagement efforts across the organization.
Working closely with HR leadership and HR Shared Services, this position serves as an approachable and reliable resource for employees and leaders. It is well‑suited for an HR professional looking to continue building experience in employee relations and workforce support within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities Serve as a point of contact for employees and leaders with questions related to HR policies, procedures, and workplace processesAssist employees and supervisors with problem‑solving related to employee relations concerns.Accredited Bachelor’s degree in social science, humanities, business or related degree plus at least two (2) years of experience; OR Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations/Employee Engagement may be accepted in lieu of education
• Working knowledge of employment laws
• SHRM-CP/PHR certification desirable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to learn and use HR systems including SuccessFactors, Kronos, OnBase, and e‑learning platforms
