Emergency Veterinarian

A privately owned, state-of-the-art emergency hospital in Bentonville, AR is seeking experienced Emergency Veterinarians to join its growing team to become the go-to emergency facility in Northwest Arkansas!

Opened in Spring 2026, this stunning, purpose-built facility is co-located with sister general practices and an urgent care facility, creating a seamless continuum of care for pets and families across Northwest Arkansas.

Currently operating Thursday through Monday nights, the hospital is on an exciting trajectory toward 24/7 emergency services, and the veterinarians joining now will play a genuine role in shaping that growth. We are actively hiring for both daytime and nighttime coverage, with various scheduling options available to suit you. Day shifts run 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Flexibility is available for those who prefer to alternate between days and nights.

The emergency clinic features a treatment area of approximately 2,000 square feet, two large surgery suites, and access to the latest equipment and technology, including AI Scribes for those who wish to reduce administrative burden. A CT scanner is also planned for installation, further elevating the diagnostic capabilities of the hospital. The caseload covers the full range of emergency medicine, while an adjacent urgent care service handles minor procedures such as laceration repair and pain management, with complex cases referred to the ER.

A Medical Director pathway is available for candidates with an interest in leadership within the ER or urgent care division!

About You:

• DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
• Hold or be eligible for a Veterinary State License in Arkansas
• Experienced in emergency medicine with solid, well-rounded clinical skills
• Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Passion for providing high standards of veterinary medicine
