Position Highlights
- Level IV Trauma Center
- Approximately 100 ER patients daily
- 30 private ER rooms
- 6-bed Emergency Department Observation Unit (EDOU)
- 6 fast-track beds for lower acuity cases
- 5 monitored rooms + 1 seclusion room
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3–1:4
- EMR: Allscripts (Sunrise)
- Medication system: Omnicell
What You’ll Do
As an ER RN, you will:
- Deliver rapid assessment and emergency care for patients with critical and acute conditions
- Manage trauma, cardiac, neurological, and medical emergencies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and efficiently
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes
- Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation
- Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality care
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Preferred
- Previous Emergency Room nursing experience
