What You’ll Do
- Design electrical systems for MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver coordinated, code-compliant designs
- Perform engineering calculations including load studies, short circuit analysis, and voltage drop
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conduct site visits and support construction administration to ensure successful project delivery
- Stay current with applicable codes, standards, and emerging technologies
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in MEP or building systems design
- PE license preferred or actively working toward licensure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with SKM, ETAP, or similar tools is a plus
- Strong knowledge of NEC and relevant codes and standards
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
